Drive Medical 14029DP, sku-17351572, is a Blue, 8" Unisex Bedroom Safety mattress system (UPC 822383117164). It combines alternating pressure and low air loss to redistribute pressure and manage skin maceration. It is designed to prevent, treat and manage pressure ulcers at home, in long-term care or in acute care.

Static perimeter tubing runs along the mattress to help keep a patient from becoming trapped between it and the side rails. The cell-on-cell design helps prevent bottoming out and provides up to 24 hours of protection during a power outage. The digital pump adjusts to patient comfort and safety needs and returns to alternating pressure mode after more than 2 hours in static mode.

Its fluid-resistant, vapor-permeable, low-shear cover is quilted, zippered and 4-way stretch. Each of the 20 air bladders can be removed and replaced. The pillow function keeps the 3 head-end cells static for comfort. There are 3 diagnostic alarms for mattress or pump problems, plus a CPR valve for rapid deflation.

The mattress measures 80" long, 36" wide and 10" high; the air cells are 8" deep and the perimeter tubing is 10" deep. Primary materials are nylon and PU, with a fluid-resistant stretch cover.
