The Blue Dr. STEM Toys D524 Engineering Toys kit, sku-1854469242, lets children build a motorized 6-cylinder engine with moving pistons and spinning fans. The Flat 6 Motor is a 320pc model kit for ages 12 and up; it contains over 320 pieces and step-by-step instructions. Pressing a button starts flashing LED lights and engine sounds that mimic combustion.

An included workbook explains combustion engines, while building the model gives children practice with mechanical and critical-thinking skills. The engine is made of ABS plastic. UPC: 850031665248.
