Overview: The CZUR ET16-P is a professional document camera scanner equipped with 2nd Gen Laser Curve-Flattening technology to produce flat, readable scans from bound materials and books. Patented flattening curve technology projects 3 laser lines (harmless) to map the contours of an open book or other bound document, calculates the page curve and outputs a corrected, flattened page image. Speed & workflow: With a 1.5 S/P scanning speed the ET16-P can scan a 300 page book within 10 min — up to 10 times faster than a traditional scanner. Auto-Scan Tech simplifies operation so you only need to flip pages; a foot pedal is also recommended to trigger captures. Paper sizes & applications: Designed for A3 & A4 formats (and sizes in between), it handles exam papers, blueprints, magazines, catalogs and large books with ease. Lighting: Two high-quality supplementary lights are included to improve results on glossy papers (for glossy media we recommend turning off the overhead light and using only the side lights). Software & OCR: Lifetime free OCR software is provided for Mac and Windows, enabling immediate editing after capture (crop, adjust sharpness, contrast, thickness, etc.). Scans can be converted into EDITABLE PDF, WORD, TIFF and are automatically stored. The software also imports and edits existing documents and will automatically separate the 2 open pages of a scanned book.
