Its potted, watertight enclosure protects the internal components from rain, road grime, salt, impacts, vibration and moisture. Surface mount technology (SMT) reduces resistance and heat generation.
The converter accepts two-wire, three-wire or PWM wiring and produces a two-wire system with a standard 4-way flat output. A microprocessor responds to overloads and short circuits, while filtering unwanted input signals to protect the wiring. It operates at low voltage and includes color-coded wires, a wiring guide and a dust cover.
