The canvas is durable, breathable and easy to cut and sew. It can also be painted or dyed; its porous weave absorbs paint and dye.
This medium-weight fabric is suitable for clothing and has some stretch, allowing it to be pulled across a frame without ripping. It is available in 60-inch and 72-inch widths. The canvas is not pre-shrunk; allow for approximately 5-7% shrinkage in both length and width. It is a cost-effective alternative to artist's canvas for schools and painting or sewing classes.
Uses include DIY projects, upholstery, pillow covers, costume mockups, theater backdrops and unprimed artist's canvas. It can also be used outdoors for tents, tarpaulins, bags, backpacks, tote bags, sails and shower curtains.
