Error E1 means water is taking too long to enter; check that the faucet is fully open and that the intake and drain hose are clear. E4 means water has overflowed, possibly because of a leak; contact support or a qualified technician. E9 means a button has been touched for more than 30 seconds; dry the control panel completely. The hot water inlet is on the bottom and faces forward.
The white PVC pipe near the bottom rear houses a factory assembly screw and is not needed for installation.
