1000ft of Corning ClearCurve OM4 multimode fiber engineered for high-speed 10Gb/s networks. The OM4 glass delivers modal bandwidth up to 4,700 MHz and supports 10 Gigabit transmissions to distances as long as 550 meters. Construction uses two 50/125 fibers (50-micron core) optimized for 850nm and 1300nm wavelengths. Strength members of Aramid yarn are combined with a durable aqua PVC outer jacket to protect the fibers from mechanical stress and wear. This cable is riser-rated (CMR), making it appropriate for vertical routing in building risers and elevator shafts; the jacket and materials are formulated to self-extinguish to limit flame spread.
