Cord Connect Orange Watertight Cord Lock — 12 Pack (IPX1 - IPX5)

Pack of 12 orange Cord Connect cord locks designed to form a watertight seal around standard power plug ends. Fits plugs smaller than 1.5" x 1.5" — simply place a Cord Connect around each cord end and twist to lock the two halves together, creating a gasketed seal that keeps moisture away from the electrical connection. Attention: Certified IPX1 - IPX5 (protection from dripping water up to water jets). THIS ITEM IS NOT TO BE SUBMERGED IN WATER. The internal gasket is built to withstand jet nozzle sprays and drip-box testing so water cannot reach the plug interface. Ideal for holiday lighting and a variety of spring, summer and fall outdoor projects. Watertight rating test details: water projected by a 6.3 mm nozzle against the enclosure from any direction with no harmful effects; test duration 1 minute per square meter for at least 15 minutes; water volume 12.5 litres per minute; pressure 30 kPa at a distance of 3 m.
