Overview: Heavy-duty Coolnut French cleat constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum for long-lasting strength and the ability to be applied to non-vertical walls. Often called a clip, hanger, or wall cleat, this system delivers reliable hanging stability. Capacity and sizing: Designed for 30-inch applications. One pair is recommended; for a 30-inch size a single pair can safely support up to 160 lbs. If extra security is desired, install two pairs (one pair at the top and another at the bottom). Fastening details: We recommend installing two screws (long ones) when mounting a single pair. Holes are spaced 1 inch apart. The package includes the necessary screws (not enough for every hole), and you may add extra screws to increase grip strength. There are more screw holes than needed — distribute screws evenly along the cleat rather than using every hole. Built-in Insert: Includes a built-in insert — place the insert when installing the cleat hanger and remove it before fitting another cleat. Installation: In most cases the only tools required are a drill and a screwdriver. Includes all necessary components and fasteners.
