High-performance PCI Express 2-port RS232 expansion card (model PEX2S953) built around the ASIX AX99100 with a 16950 UART. Provides two DB9 serial connectors capable of bi-directional RS232 communication at speeds up to 921.6Kbps per port. Each port includes a 256 byte FIFO buffer and supports the 9th data bit. This is the upgraded version of our popular PEX2S952. Flexible pin 9 power options let you enable 12v, 5v, or disable power on pin 9, with up to 2A total; each of the 2 ports can be configured independently. The card ships with a standard profile bracket pre-installed and includes 2 low-profile brackets for compact chassis.
