Award-winning Cobra 4-inch slip-on mufflers designed to add horsepower and torque while delivering a deeper, more aggressive exhaust note favored by editors and real riders. The muffler's 4" body uses a proprietary cooling chamber and positions the louvers farther back in the core so super-heated gases have a chance to cool before exiting—making these 4" mufflers virtually blue proof. Construction and finish: welded from mild steel and finished in a four-step chrome-plating process. The large aluminum tip is polished and chromed for a show-quality appearance. Installation and kit contents: slip-on design for easy installation; all necessary mounting hardware and detailed instructions are included to ensure a trouble-free fit. Tuning notes: re-jetting is recommended for optimal results on carbureted models. For fuel-injected bikes, install a Power Commander (digital fuel processor) when changing the exhaust. It is also recommended to replace exhaust gaskets and install an appropriate jet kit on carbureted machines, or new exhaust gaskets and a digital fuel processor on fuel-injected models.
