Circular Polarizing Filter for Nikon AF-S DX Micro-NIKKOR 85mm f/3.5G ED VR

Designed for the Nikon AF-S DX Micro-NIKKOR 85mm f/3.5G ED VR, this circular polarizer (CPL) features an ultra‑slim aluminum frame that prevents vignetting while still allowing rotation to adjust polarization levels. A nonslip upper rim makes mounting, rotating and removing the filter easy and secure. The glass is treated with double-sided, multi-layered coatings that are anti-oil, anti-dust and anti-soil, and resistant to scratches and water. As a CPL, it removes unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces like water and glass, increases color saturation and contrast (especially deepening blue skies and enhancing cloud definition), and reduces haze in distant landscapes. The filter works by arranging and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to reflected light, absorbing much of that reflection; the effect is strongest when used at a 90° angle to the sun.
