Circular Polarizing Filter (CPL) — Compatible with NIKKOR Z 135mm f/1.8 S Plena

Designed for the NIKKOR Z 135mm f/1.8 S Plena, this circular polarizing (CPL) filter uses an ultra-slim aluminum frame to prevent vignetting while still allowing rotation for precise adjustment. A nonslip upper rim makes mounting, turning and removal simple and secure. The optical surfaces feature double-sided, multi-layered coatings and are anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, scratch & water resistant. CPL filters cut unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass, boost color saturation and improve contrast — especially effective for deepening blue skies and defining white clouds. By arranging and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to the reflected light, the filter absorbs much of that reflection and clears haze in distant landscapes, producing richer, more vivid colors. The effect is strongest when the filter is used at a 90° angle from the sun.
