Circular Polarizing (CPL) Filter for Sony FE 50mm F1.2 GM — Ultra-Slim Aluminum, Multi-Coated

Designed for use with the Sony FE 50mm F1.2 GM, this circular polarizer reduces unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces like water and glass while boosting color saturation and contrast. The CPL works by arranging and filtering directionally polarized light at right angles to reflected light, allowing much of that light to be absorbed — particularly effective when the subject is approximately 90° from the sun. Common applications include intensifying blue skies and white clouds, cutting haze in distant landscapes, and producing richer, more vivid colors. Built with an ultra-slim aluminum frame to prevent vignetting while preserving smooth rotation for adjustment, it also features a nonslip upper rim for easier installation, rotation, and removal. Both sides of the glass have multi-layered, double-sided coatings that are anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, and resistant to scratches and water.
