Circular Polarizing (CPL) Filter — Compatible with Olympus 14-54mm f/2.8-3.5 Zuiko Digital

Designed for use with the Olympus 14-54mm f/2.8-3.5 Zuiko Digital, this circular polarizing (CPL) filter features an ultra-slim aluminum frame that prevents vignetting while preserving full rotation for fine adjustment. A nonslip upper rim makes installation, rotation and removal quick and secure. The glass has double-sided, multi-layered coatings and is anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, scratch & water resistant. CPL filters remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass, etc., and boost color and contrast. They are commonly used to deepen blue skies and increase the saturation of white clouds. By arranging and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to the reflected light, much of the reflected light is absorbed, reducing haze in distant landscapes and producing more saturated, vivid colors. The effect is strongest when the filter is used at a 90° angle from the sun.
