Circular Polarizer (CPL) for Olympus 75mm f/1.8 ED M.Zuiko Digital

Designed for use with the Olympus 75mm f/1.8 ED M.Zuiko Digital, this circular polarizing (CPL) filter features an ultra-slim aluminum frame that prevents vignetting while still permitting full rotation for leveling adjustments. A nonslip upper rim makes mounting, rotating and removing the filter quick and easy. Both sides are finished with multi-layered, double-sided coatings that are anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil and resistant to scratches and water. The CPL removes unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass, increases color saturation and contrast—especially deepening blues and brightening clouds—and reduces haze in distant landscapes for richer, more vivid images. The filter works by arranging and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to the reflected light, allowing much of that light to be absorbed. For the strongest effect use the filter at a 90° angle from the sun.
