Made for the Nikon NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.8 S, this circular polarizing (CPL) filter reduces glare from non-metallic surfaces like water and glass while boosting color and contrast. The ultra-slim aluminum frame prevents vignetting yet still permits smooth rotation for exposure and polarization adjustments. A nonslip upper rim makes installation, rotation and removal quick and secure. The glass is treated with double-sided, multi-layered coatings that are anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, and scratch & water resistant. By arranging and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to reflected light, the CPL absorbs much of those reflections, cutting haze from distant scenes and producing richer, more saturated colors. For maximum effect aim to use the filter at a 90° angle from the sun.
