Circular Polarizer (CPL) Filter — Compatible with NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.2 S

This circular polarizing (CPL) filter reduces unwanted reflections on non-metallic surfaces like water and glass while boosting color saturation and contrast. CPLs work by organizing and filtering directionally polarized light that is perpendicular to reflected light, allowing much of that reflected light to be absorbed — the effect is strongest when shooting at a 90° angle to the sun. The filter is especially useful for removing haze in distant landscapes and for deepening blue skies and white clouds. Built with an ultra-slim aluminum frame to prevent vignetting, it still allows full rotation for adjusting levels. A nonslip upper rim simplifies installation, rotation and removal. The glass is treated with double sided, multi-layered coatings and is anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, scratch & water resistant.
