Circular Polarizer (CPL) Compatible With Olympus 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 ED M.Zuiko Digital

This Circular Polarizing (CPL) filter is made for the Olympus 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 ED M.Zuiko Digital lens and is designed to cut unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces like water and glass while improving color and contrast. The ultra-slim aluminum frame prevents vignetting and still permits smooth rotation for level adjustments. A nonslip upper rim makes the filter easy to mount, rotate and remove. Optics are treated with double sided, multi-layered coatings and are anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, scratch & water resistant. By arranging and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to reflected light, the CPL absorbs much of that reflection, reducing haze in distant landscapes and producing more saturated, vivid colors. It is especially effective for increasing contrast and saturation in blue skies and white clouds, with the strongest effect when used at a 90° angle from the sun.
