The glass features double sided, multi-layered coatings and is anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, scratch & water resistant. Circular CPL filters allow you to remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass, etc., and they enhance color and contrast — often used to increase contrast and saturation in blue skies and white clouds. CPL filters arrange and filter directionally polarized light perpendicularly to the reflected light, allowing for the absorption of much of the light, which clears up haze in distant landscapes and produces more saturated, vivid colors. For best results position the filter at a 90° angle from the sun, where the effect is strongest.
