Circular Polarizer (CPL) — Compatible with Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR

This circular polarizing (CPL) filter is made to work with the Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR and improves outdoor and landscape photography by cutting unwanted glare and boosting color saturation. The ultra-slim aluminum frame is designed to prevent vignetting while still allowing the filter to rotate for precise polarization control. A nonslip upper rim makes it easy to mount, turn and remove the filter even in the field. The glass is treated with double-sided, multi-layered coatings and is resistant to oil, dust, soil, scratches and water. By filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to reflections, the CPL absorbs much of the reflected light from non-metallic surfaces like water and glass, clearing haze in distant scenes and producing richer, more vivid colors—most noticeably deeper blue skies and brighter white clouds. For maximum effect aim the filter roughly 90° from the sun.
