An ultra-slim aluminum frame is used to prevent vignetting while still allowing the filter to rotate freely for precise adjustment. A non‑slip upper rim makes mounting, turning and removal simple and secure. The glass features double-sided, multi-layered coatings and is resistant to oil, dust, soil, scratches and water. This circular CPL removes unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass, improves color fidelity and boosts contrast. Photographers often employ it to deepen blue skies and make white clouds pop. By arranging and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicular to reflected light, the filter absorbs much of those reflections, clearing haze in distant landscapes and producing richer, more saturated colors — with the strongest effect at a 90° angle to the sun.
