Circular Polarizer (CPL) Compatible With Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS II USM

This circular polarizing (CPL) filter is built with an ultra-slim aluminum frame that avoids vignetting while maintaining rotation capabilities for adjusting levels. A nonslip upper rim makes it simple to install, rotate and remove the filter even when fine-tuning polarization. The glass is treated with double sided, multi-layered coatings and is anti-oil, anti-dust, anti-soil, scratch & water resistant for improved durability and easier cleaning. CPL filters reduce unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass, boost color saturation and contrast, and are commonly used to deepen blue skies and make white clouds pop. By arranging and filtering directionally polarized light perpendicularly to the reflected light, much of that light is absorbed, which also helps clear haze in distant landscapes. The effect is strongest when shooting at roughly a 90° angle from the sun.
