Simultaneous interpreting is the ultimate goal for interpreters. This powerful set of materials separates the intricate skill of SI into logical, easy-to-manage components. The video combines unscripted, naturally spoken English, the kind of language heard in the field, with expertly crafted exercises to get inside the SI process to improve interpretations.

Follow-up processes and study questions pinpoint areas that require improvement. Recognizing the types of errors that appear at key points in the SI process, comprehension, transfer, or reformulation, guides students of interpretation to the exact skills that need attention. [Carol J.
