Adapter converts Dual MCIO 8i Mini Cool Edge IO SFF-TA-1016 connections to a PCIE5.0 PCI-Express 16x VROC interface for internal installation on the mainboard. One detachable PCIE PCI-Express 8x connection on the motherboard can be attached to the converter via the MCIO interface. Installation is internal through the MCIO port. Compatibility requires motherboards with detachable PCI-E channels — only these boards are supported. The adapter can manage two disks, but disk recognition depends on the motherboard’s PCIe channel configuration; motherboards without PCI-E signal splitting will only detect one disk. For reliable operation the unit includes multiple sets of high-power DC modules to maintain stable, continuous power. Designed for use with SSDs that use MCIO 8x connectors, it provides high-speed data transfer at up to 24 Gbps.
