Celestron ACEL6SEEYEK2 Science Toys Kit sku-49651642

Celestron ACEL6SEEYEK2 is a Unisex Science Toys bundle with an Orange NexStar 6SE computerized Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope and a 1.25 inch eyepiece and filter kit in an aluminum case. SKU: sku-49651642. UPC: 636156009996. The telescope has a 6-inch primary mirror, a patented single-fork-arm computerized go-to mount, a steel tripod and SkyAlign setup technology.

Its NexStar+ hand control can locate and track objects from a database of more than 40, 000 celestial objects; Sky Tour presents objects currently visible. The telescope separates into compact pieces for transport. Celestron developed its Schmidt corrector plate production method under founder Tom Johnson and later added computerized features to the design.

The 1.25-inch accessory kit includes planetary and Moon filters, five (5) four-element Plossl eyepieces with a 52° apparent field of view, and a 2X Barlow lens. The fully multi-coated eyepieces have focal lengths of 32 mm, 13 mm, 17 mm, 8 mm and 6 mm. The Barlow doubles an eyepiece's magnification, providing ten options with the included eyepieces.

High magnification may give less clear results in poor seeing conditions. The colored filters can help reveal planetary surface or cloud details, and fit 1.25-inch eyepieces with the proper filter threads. These are 1.25-inch accessories.
