Cat6 cable is intended for networking, data transfer and phone lines and has been built specifically for Gigabit Ethernet applications. Robust construction and connectors: Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) design with a snagless, booted molded assembly and RJ45 connector with clip. The cable shield is wrapped in Aluminum Foil/Mylar and includes a Tinned Copper drain wire for improved protection. Individual conductors are 24 AWG stranded pure copper, and the connectors are wired to the T568B standard. Cat5e patch cables are stranded to improve flexibility. Standards and approvals: Exceeds the EIA/TIA-568-C standard and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) and Voice over IP (VoIP). ROHS Compliant, ETL Verified, UL/CSA approved and pre-terminated with RJ45 connectors. Offered in a wide variety of colors for clear color-coding.
