Momo Yellow Hand Tools CAT7 Crimper sku-5979626853

Momo's Yellow Hand Tools crimper, sku-5979626853, installs modular connectors for voice and data cables. It crimps RJ45 Cat 3/4/5/5e/6 (8x8, 8P8C), RJ12 6-position (6x6, 6P6C), and RJ11 4-position (6x4, 6P4C) and 2-position (6x2, 6P2C) plugs. It also works with RJ45 pass-through connectors using a built-in blade.

Fixed die cavities support RJ45 data and RJ12/RJ11 voice connectors, including Cat5, Cat5e and Cat6 STP/UTP Ethernet cable, twisted pairs and phone cables. The tool can crimp Cat6a and Cat7 shielded connectors, including the metal clip on the plug. To change compression modes, loosen the built-in Cat7-to-Cat5 switch with a screwdriver and move it up or down.

Cat7 mode is for shielded Cat7 plugs; Cat5 mode is for Cat5e and Cat6 plugs, including standard RJ45 connectors. The crimper is 2/3 the size of traditional crimpers and is designed for one-handed use. It has a rust-resistant black oxide-coated steel core, a spring-loaded matte handle that returns to the ready position after each cycle, and a storage lock. It fits in a pocket, tool pouch or chest.

The blister pack contains 1x CAT5/CAT6/CAT7 pass-through crimper and 1x stripping tool.
