Overview: The Canon XA70 is a professional-grade UHD 4K camcorder built around a 1" CMOS 4K sensor and Canon's DIGIC DV6 image processor to deliver high sensitivity with low noise. It records UHD 4K30 as well as Full HD 1080p60 and can produce oversampled Full HD from its 4K sensor for sharper HD imagery. The camera supports XF-AVC and MP4 file formats and captures to dual SD card slots with options for automatic relay switching or simultaneous recording to both cards. Image and lens: The integrated lens provides a 15x HD optical zoom and uses a nine-bladed circular iris for smoother, more natural highlights. Wide DR gamma helps preserve detail in low-light situations. The XA70 offers both optical and electronic image stabilization and supports fast- and slow-motion recording. Autofocus, viewfinders and displays: Autofocus options include Canon Dual-Pixel AF plus Contrast AF for reliable subject tracking. The camcorder features a larger 3.5mm LCD capacitive touchscreen display and a higher-resolution tiltable 0.36" OLED EVF for monitoring. It also includes a 3.5" touchscreen LCD for menu operation and quick control.
