Overview: This conversion lens is made for the Canon VIXIA HF10 (High Definition) and provides a 0.45x wide-angle conversion while adding a Macro option for close-up work. The accessory mounts on the front of your existing lens and preserves all of the camera’s functions, including autofocus. Optical & Mounting Details: Conversion type optical system that screws into the camera’s filter accessory threads on the front of the lens. Coated optics are optimized for use both day and night to maximize image transmission and minimize distortion. Wide-Angle & Macro Operation: Provides a 0.45X wide-angle conversion factor relative to your current lens setting. Macro mode is enabled by unscrewing the front assembly and using the section labeled “Macro” in conjunction with your camera’s lens. The camera’s autofocus system remains in use with this attachment. Compatibility & Accessories: Accepts 55mm filters. Included in the package are a lens cap, bottom cover, and pouch. Product made in Japan. 55mm Circular Polarizing Filter: A 55mm circular polarizer is included to reduce reflections from non-metallic surfaces, cut through haze, increase color saturation and contrast, and deepen sky tones. Filter factor between 2.1 and 2.5 (approx. +1.2 stops). Nwv Direct Micro Fiber Cleaning Cloth: Soft-tex silicone microfiber cloth suitable for cleaning the camera lens and other exterior surfaces.
