0.5x wide-angle conversion lens designed for the Canon Vixia HF M500 (High Definition) that also provides a Macro mode. Conversion type optical attachment that mounts on the front of your existing lens and installs via screw-type mounting into the camera’s filter accessory threads (use the included 43-58mm stepping ring if needed). Coated optics are engineered for maximum image transmission with minimal distortion for day and night shooting. The lens uses the camera’s auto focus system and preserves all camera functions while delivering a 0.5X wide-angle effect. Macro mode is engaged by unscrewing the front assembly and using the section labeled “Macro” with your camera’s lens. Accepts 82mm filters. Kit includes an 82mm circular polarizing filter (increases color saturation and contrast by reducing reflections from non-metallic surfaces, cuts through haze and deepens sky color; Filter Factor Between 2.1 and 2.5 (approx. +1.2 stops)), lens cap, bottom cover, pouch, and Nwv Direct Micro Fiber Cleaning Cloth (Soft-tex silicone cloth for wiping camera lens and other exterior surfaces).
