Overview: 0.5x wide-angle conversion kit designed for the Canon Vixia HF M40 (High Definition). This conversion-type lens mounts on the front of your existing lens and includes a 43-58mm stepping ring and an 82mm circular polarizing filter. Made In Japan. Optical power and mounting: Provides a 0.5x time conversion factor relative to your current lens setting. The converter is a screw-on unit that attaches to your camera’s filter accessory threads for easy installation using the supplied 43-58mm stepping ring. It accepts 82mm filters. Macro function: A dedicated Macro mode is available by unscrewing the front section of the converter and using the portion marked Macro in conjunction with your camera lens. Image quality and autofocus: Coated optics are tuned for day and night operation to maximize image transmission while minimizing distortion. The converter uses your camera’s autofocus system and preserves all normal camera functions while adding 0.5x wide-angle capability. Included accessories: Lens cap, bottom cover, protective pouch, and a Nwv Direct Micro Fiber Cleaning Cloth (Soft-tex silicone) are supplied with the kit. 82mm Circular Polarizing Filter: 82mm circular polarizer reduces reflections on non-metallic surfaces and cuts through haze to boost color saturation and contrast, deepening sky tones. Filter Factor Between 2.1 and 2.5 (approx. +1.2 stops).
