Item Version - International. An RF-series ultra wide-angle zoom designed for EOS R mirrorless cameras, offering broad coverage for both still photography and video on full-frame bodies. When mounted on cameras with APS-C size image sensors, it provides the equivalent of approx. 24-48mm coverage. Optical design includes two UD (Ultra-low Dispersion) glass elements and one aspheric element, along with Canon SSC (Super Spectra Coating) to reduce ghosting and flare and maintain high image quality. Built-in Optical Image Stabilization delivers up to 5.0 stops of shake correction; this can reach up to 7.0 stops when paired with EOS R series cameras that feature In-Body Image Stabilizer (IBIS). Close-focus capability is approx. 11 In./0.28m, and in manual focus at the 15mm zoom position the minimum focus distance is 5.1 In./0.13m.
