What is Customer Questions & Answers?

Customer Questions & Answers lets registered customers ask product-specific questions and share answers based on their experience. Questions and answers appear after moderation.

Ask about the product itself, especially details another customer may know from using it. For example: Does this camera take good pictures in low light? How long does this laptop battery last while watching movies? Does this computer have noisy cooling fans?

Overview: The EOS R7 brings APS-C into Canon's R mirrorless line, pairing a 32.5MP APS-C CMOS sensor with DIGIC X processing to balance high resolution, speed, and low-light capability. Designed for fast-action photography and versatile multimedia work, the R7 combines quick continuous shooting with advanced autofocus and modern video features. Imaging and speed: The 32.5MP APS-C sensor provides detailed stills and supplies a 7K area for improved 4K oversampling. The DIGIC X processor enables up to 30 fps continuous shooting using the silent electronic shutter (15 fps with the mechanical shutter), with AF & AE readings taken before each frame. Native sensitivity runs from ISO 100-32000 and can be expanded to ISO 51200 for low-light situations. Autofocus and stabilization: Dual Pixel CMOS AF II delivers reliable subject detection and tracking for fast-moving subjects, while sensor-shift 5-axis image stabilization helps reduce camera shake for both photos and video. Video capabilities: Record 4K video at up to 60p (10-bit) or use 30p when oversampling from a 7K area for enhanced detail. The camera also supports HDR-PQ and C-Log 3 for expanded dynamic range and post-production flexibility. Viewfinder, monitor and connectivity: A 2.36m-Dot OLED EVF and a 1.6m-Dot vari-angle touchscreen LCD provide versatile monitoring and shooting angles.
