Designed for demanding multimedia workflows, the Canon EOS R5 Mark II delivers the speed and resolution pros need — a new stacked, back-illuminated 45MP full-frame sensor paired with an all-new processor enables high-resolution stills and video performance. It can shoot at up to 30 fps for burst shooting and record internally in DCI 8K raw up to 60 fps, while also offering 4K SRAW at the full sensor width. The R5 Mark II adopts many of the video-focused refinements from the R5 C and borrows Cinema EOS-style features and workflow capabilities for hybrid shooters. This model is the first EOS camera to support Wi-Fi 6E/Wi-Fi 6 wireless for faster, broader-band communication. A new, higher-capacity LP-E6P lithium-ion battery is required to sustain 8K recording, top-frame-rate drive speeds, and other high-demand features; the camera will accept LP-E6N and LP-E6NH batteries but with reduced performance and shorter runtimes. The body is compact and lightweight, built with dust- and moisture-sealed construction for use in challenging environments.
