The lens covers an aperture range from F/4.5 to f/29 and incorporates one UD element and one aspherical element to control aberrations. Super Spectra coating helps reduce flare and ghosting, while a rounded 7-blade diaphragm contributes to smooth out-of-focus rendering. Autofocus & Stabilization: The STM stepping AF motor provides quiet, smooth focusing that pairs well with select cameras' Movie Servo AF mode for video work. The motor also uses an internal focusing system for fast, responsive AF during stills shooting. Optical Image Stabilizer is included to help compensate for camera shake.
