This 1-Input 2-Output adapter supports up to 4K resolutions (3840 ?? 2160) and lets you mirror a video, extend your desktop across two monitors, or span one image across both screens. Using Multi-Stream Transport (MST), the hub enables independent video streams for enhanced multitasking and productivity or can combine monitors into a single large display. The adapter is DisplayPort 1.2 compliant — the source video card and connected displays must support DisplayPort 1.2 and MST. Built for reliability, the connector is nickel plated to resist corrosion and the molded strain-relief prevents cable stress for longer life and consistent connectivity. The hub requires 5V/2A power; in some situations additional external power may be necessary via the USB Micro-B port. Optional Micro-B power cable available (Part Number 27053).
