What is Customer Questions & Answers?

Customer Questions & Answers lets registered customers ask product-specific questions and share answers based on their experience. Questions and answers appear after moderation.

Ask about the product itself, especially details another customer may know from using it. For example: Does this camera take good pictures in low light? How long does this laptop battery last while watching movies? Does this computer have noisy cooling fans?

What shouldn't I ask?

Posts must be product questions or answers. Do not post about shipping or delivery, availability, a specific order, customer service, or material that violates our community rules. Use our FAQ or your account for order and support help. Links and contact information are not allowed in submissions.

How do I ask a question?

Sign in or register, go to the Customer Questions & Answers section on a product page, enter a title and your question, then select Ask a question. Your question appears publicly after moderator approval.

How do I answer a question?

Sign in, find a question you can answer in the product's Customer Questions & Answers section, then use Write an answer. Your answer appears publicly after moderator approval.

Why use Questions & Answers instead of an open discussion?

This section stays focused on product questions and useful answers. For orders, delivery, or customer service, use the help information in our FAQ.

1. Identify the battery in good condition or replace it 2. Check battery capacity - cold start Ampere (CCA), DIN, EN and IEC information related to battery rating. 3. Check the internal resistance value (ohm) 4. Display battery life in percentage (%) 5. Battery startup test, load test 6. Battery charging test, ripple test 7.

Support battery ripple test and view test data BST100 12V Battery Tester Features Test all car start lead-acid batteries, including ordinary lead-acid batteries, AGM flat batteries, AGM spiral batteries, gel batteries, etc. Reverse polarity protection, reverse connection will not damage the tester or affect the vehicle and battery.

Directly test the power-down battery, and it does not need to be fully charged before the test. The test standards include most of the battery standards in the world, CCA, BCI, CA, MCA, JIS, DIN, IEC, EN, SAE, GB. The BST100 is used to test various 12V batteries (starting [SLI], deep cycle and marine) wet (overflow), VRLA or maintenance free (MF), sealed maintenance free (SMF), absorbent glass mat (AGM)) and GEL EPB cells BST100 12V Battery Tester Details Advantages of this method: (1) It can be used for the inspection of almost all batteries, including the internal resistance of low-capacity batteries and notebook batteries.

(2) Using this method will not cause damage to the battery. FQA 1. What is the measurement principle of this tester? Batteries age gradually over time. The main reason is that the surface of the battery plate is aging and can no longer produce some effective chemical reactions.

The International Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) officially adopted the conductivity test as one of the standards for checking lead-acid batteries. It states from IEEE Standard 1118-1996: The conductivity test is used to test the alternating current produced by placing an alternating signal of known frequency and amplitude across the battery.

The AC conductivity value is the ratio of the AC current signal in phase with the AC voltage to the AC voltage. The tester is actually designed according to this principle. FQA 2. Will adding negative current to the vehicle affect the results? All negative currency affects the result. So please remove negative numbers before checking to get accurate data.
