Built on the original BCM5719 controller, this quad-port Gigabit Ethernet adapter brings virtualization features, proven reliability, and flexible functionality to servers and workstations that require upgraded network performance. Each of the four RJ-45 ports supports 10/100/1000 operation and can link to a file server or remote workstation over CAT5/CAT6/CAT7 cable runs up to 100m. The card is fully PCIe v2.1 capable ( 2.5GT and 5.0GT/s) using an x4 Lane and is compatible with PCIE X4, X8, X16 slots, making it an effective replacement or upgrade for existing network ports. Installation is straightforward: the adapter ships with both low-profile and full-height brackets to suit different server or desktop cases and can be added to provide additional ports or redundancy.
