Wool rugs shed; shedding may ease with wear and typically takes at least 20-25 vacuumings to lessen, though some rugs shed throughout their life. For stains, blot with a dry cotton or white paper towel, remove debris, then use a little dish soap and cold water with a clean sponge. Avoid excess water, heat and agitation, and blot dry. Annual professional cleaning is recommended.

Use a canister vacuum without a beater bar, a broom or a manual sweeper. For an upright vacuum, use a handheld attachment, turn off the beater bar or set it as high as possible to reduce pulled threads and fuzzing. The seller directs customers to Walmart's return policy for returns and refunds.
