Overview: Auxiliary input lead designed for BMW E39, E46 and E53 vehicles fitted with the OEM BM54 board or navigation systems (SA 602/609). Compatible with systems produced from September 2002 onward. The harness plugs into the X14118 connector, which is fastened to the rear of the display unit. Functionality: Allows connection of an iPod, iPhone or any portable MP3/CD player using a standard 3.5mm headphone output while preserving the CD changer function. The flexible adapter can be routed to a convenient location inside the car. Construction and fit: Black cable made from PVC with copper conductors and a 3.5mm female head to 3 pins connector.
