Adjustable mouth allows for fine or coarse shavings by sliding the upper section forward or backward. The upper/front section can be removed for conversion to a chisel plane and easy access to corners. Solid brass adjusting knobs set the depth of the blade to provide fast cuts on different types of wood. Impact resistant cast-iron base with precision-ground bottom and sides.
