The painted iron housing has a double-sided ventilation grille and a cooling fan with a temperature sensor. It supports automatic discharge testing for nickel hydrogen, nickel-chromium, lithium, iron lithium and lead-acid batteries.
Protection covers overvoltage, overheating, overcurrent and reverse connections. Its LCD displays voltage, current, capacity, time, power and energy data; separate voltage and current wiring supports four-wire measurement. A dedicated USB-to-TTL serial port with an aviation-plug interface supports computer control, curve drawing, automatic current testing, calibration and firmware updates.
It does not use an ordinary USB cable.
