Baseline 12-1662 is a 6-piece tactile monofilament set for Physical Therapy, used to test sensation in hands and feet. The monofilaments apply different levels of pressure to help assess sensation loss, including loss associated with arthritis, diabetes or neuropathy. If someone does not feel one filament, the next larger size can be used.

The set includes 2.83, 3.61, 4.31, 4.56, 5.07 and 6.65 g sizes. Green, blue, purple and red tools indicate categories of sensation loss. A hard-shell case has molded slots to protect the nylon filaments and a transparent cover for identifying them.
