This B&C Speakers 12BG100-8 12-inch low-frequency driver is built for pro audio mobile installations (motorcycle/car) that demand high power and low distortion. It offers a nominal power rating of 1000 W and a 2000 W continuous program power capacity. The motor uses an FEA-optimized Neodymium magnet assembly with an aluminium demodulating ring to keep distortion very low. A ventilated voice coil gap reduces power compression while the double silicone spider provides optimized compliance for reliable linear motion. The driver features a 100 mm (4 in) copper voice coil and a radial cone with roll surround treated with TWP (waterproof both sides).
