The 5.8GHz band offers transmission speeds 4–6 times faster than 2.4GHz, enabling fast transfers (for example, downloading an 800Mb video in about 10 seconds) and smooth wireless performance. 24-hour, 4-mode parking monitor (requires optional hardwire) — Parking surveillance requires connection to a 3-Lead Hardwire Kit (sold separately). The M580 supports four parking modes: 1) Automatic shutdown parking mode — when the camera power is off, the G-sensor still detects impacts and triggers recording. 2) Normal parking recording — collisions detected by the G-sensor lock the footage while the camera continues recording. 3) Delayed parking mode — continuous recording capability for up to 24 hours. 4) Motion detection parking mode — the camera automatically starts recording when motion is detected.
