AZ Faux Heating Other AOEMK040040048ISN mantel shelf kit

AZ Faux AOEMK040040048ISN is listed under Heating in color Other, UPC 850042600344. This Old English Rustic faux wood fireplace mantel shelf kit has a burnished finish and a distressed wood texture. Made from high-density polyurethane molded from real logs, the hollow mantel is hand finished in North Carolina and made and finished in the USA.

Its outside measurements are 48 inches long, 4 inches wide and 4 inches high (48" L x 4" W x 4" H); the 4" x 4" x 48" mantel weighs 5 lbs. The kit includes a mantel beam, mounting strip and touch-up paint kit. Installation involves securing the strip to wall studs, applying adhesive, sliding the mantel into place and toe screwing it.

Screws, adhesive, and wood filler or color-complementing caulk are also needed. The mantel is decorative, is not designed to hold heavy objects, and requires little maintenance. It is combustible, so follow the manufacturer's clearances and local fire codes near heat sources. Do not sand it. It provides a wood look without the typical expense of real wood.
