Overview: The URayCoder / SC1217 HDMI encoder (AVMATRIX SE1217) is a single-channel Type-A HDMI device built for direct, computer-free live broadcasting. It supports streaming to major platforms including Youtube, Facebook, Ustream, Livestream, Twitch, Meridix, Streamspot, Dacast, Tikilive, Netrmedi and more. Networked UHD transmission: HDMI inputs are encoded and compressed for delivery over wired networks (WAN and LAN), enabling long-distance live UHD video broadcasts. Efficient encoding and low latency: Supports H.264 and advanced H.265 to achieve lower bit rates and reduced network usage; slice encoding technology minimizes latency at the encoder. Video/resolution and bitrate: Supports up to 1080P60fps. Adjustable code rate ranges from 16kbit/s to 60MKbit/s, allowing UHD delivery even on limited bandwidth. Protocols and streams: Powerful streaming protocol support including HTTP/RTSP/RTMPS/RTMP/RTP/UDP/ONVIF with both unicast and multicast. SRT is supported for secure, reliable transport. Dual-stream output is available — the main stream can reach 1080P60HZ while the sub-stream supports 720p60HZ (customization available). Practical design and features: Compact, low-power unit suitable for 24 hours continuous operation. Supports image and text overlays positioned anywhere on screen and includes audio embedding encoding.
