Avenger NAC2.5GAL Yellow Lawn Care Weed sku-811342560

Avenger NAC2.5GAL (sku-811342560, UPC 859177001040) is a Yellow, 2.5 Gallon Lawn Care weed killer concentrate. This organic, non-selective post-emergence herbicide uses d-limonene, a citrus oil that strips the plant's waxy cuticle so it dehydrates. The product is highly biodegradable, dissipates quickly and gives visible results in less than 2 hours.

The supplier describes it as effective without environmental harm and cites university and independent tests finding it as effective as leading synthetic herbicides, with faster action. It also reports quicker, more effective results than natural herbicides containing vinegar, citric acid, clove oil or fatty acids.

It controls most weeds, grasses and broadleaves, including spurge, sow thistle, shepherd's purse, clover, hairy fleabane, crabgrass, smooth crabgrass, dandelion, whitestem filaree, Bermuda grass, bindweed, Johnson grass and little mallow.

Listed use areas include gardens, lawns, shrubs, flower beds, driveways, sidewalks, patios, borders, outside walls, mulch and gravel beds, mature trees and ornamentals, greenhouses, fencerows, foundations, buildings, golf courses, athletic fields, parks, recreation areas, bike and hiking trails, kennels and animal enclosures.

It is approved for organic gardening under the USDA National Organic Program rule and by the Washington Organic Food Program. The FDA generally recognizes d-limonene as safe. The patented, EPA-registered formula is a USDA IR-4 Project participant.
