No rating yet(0 ratings)The Auto Meter 6854 is a Multicolor, 5" dual-range tachometer in Gauges & Monitoring (SKU sku-164643060; UPC 046074068546). Incandescent lighting illuminates the front of the dial, and the tachometer is compatible with 12 and 16 volt electrical systems. Its air-core movement can take the needle from 0 to full scale in 333 milliseconds.
It accepts 0.5 to 6 pulse ignition signals from 1-12 cylinder engines with points, electronic ignition or most 12V high-performance racing ignitions. Peak RPM Memory lets drivers review engine speed between rounds to assess wheel spin, gearing and setup changes. A programmable shift light has 2 stages, including a separate activation point for the 1-2 shift.
The dual-range dial provides more resolution in the power band for fast-revving, high-RPM engines.
